The independent Romanian PR agency Bortun•Olteanu posted almost Euro 1M turnover for 2011, after 1 year of activity. The posted turnover – of Euro 900,000 – surpassed agency’s estimations by 15%.
In 2011, the agency started working with 6 new brands: Gillette Venus, CampingGrill.ro, Ceva Fin, Lurpak, Arla and Bergader.
Bortun•Olteanu implemented in 2011 over 160 projects, among which projects for Mercedes-Benz, Samsung, SoNoRo and others.
The main characteristic of 2011 was the increasing of the demand and of the number of projects for integrated communication. We coordinated many initiatives that included a BTL or ATL component, but included in communication efforts with PR strategies. I don’t think this is an accident and I don’t think it is justified by the changements of marketing budgets structure. The clients will continue to give an increased importance to PR, because it is the communication discipline that contributes the best to increase reputation and manages it
