Hippos to handle online communication for Unilever’s Signal in Romania

April 11, 2012 Cristina Blanaru Business, Creativity, Digital & Media

Romanian agency Hippos won a pitch organized by Unilever that had as stake the selection of the agency to handle the online communication strategy for Signal brand (oral hygiene brand) in 2012. Agency’s proposal for the brand includes, among others, a website face lift, Facebook communications and apps, but also events activations, all in all exactly what is needed for Signal – a relatively new brand on Romanian market, on which the online component has an important contribution in the communication mix.

I am glad that the relationship with Unilever continues! We started 2 years ago with a Facebook app for Magnum ice-cream, than we did a website and social media communication for Carte D’Or. And now, we are going further with the strategy and implementation for all online activities for Signal in 2012

Irina Tudose

Senior Account Manager Hippos

We showed one more time that we have what we call «strategic creative awesomeness». Which means we understand the brand, we feel its personality and development direction and we find exactly what is needed to go further. After we build attentively the strategy, we put on top of it different daring ideas so, in the end, we can chose, together with the client, the ones that have the right “creative madness” dose that match the growth ambitions of the brand. That’s also how we did with Signal, that became our new partner. And the 1st digital activities are already visible

Alexandra Iorgulescu

Copywriter Hippos

Hippos team that work on the project includes Oana Brasoveanu – Client Service Director, Irina Tudose – Senior Account Manager, Aura Oprisan – Digital Project Manager, Alexandra Iorgulescu – Copywriter, Daniel Ursuleanu / Titus Bardasanu – Webdesigners, Andrei Mocanu – Front-end Developer and Mihail Stanciu – Strategy Director.
