Pepsi and Gheorghe Hagi Football Academy renewed their involvement in Romanian football’s future, by launching Next 11 – The team of the future, a platform that aims to offer optimum training conditions to prepare the future top football layers generations in international football. With a solid tradition in supporting young football talents at national and international level, Pepsi becomes the 1st supporter of Next 11, 2 years after inaugurating its partnership with Gheorghe Hagi Academy.
Collaborating with Gheorghe Hagi Football Academy is one of the most significant investments Pepsi made in supporting young talents in Romanian sports. We strongly believe that, if there is someone that can discover and educate Next 11 generation, that person is Gheorghe Hagi. He showed us that on the football field, during his entire career, both as a player but even more as a leader, he is showing it to us also now, with the way he dedicated huge resources for the Academy. Seeing the way he works and listen to him talking and thinking football, all we can wish for is that Next 11 platform to anchor in Gheorghe Hagi’s character DNA

With 27 young football players from Academy called in 2012 at national juniors and youth competitions in Romania, Gheorghe Hagi is now trusty that he can get to the next level his project of discovering and educating young talents.
Even since I founded the Academy, my dream was to create a climate for performance and to teach young talents my philosophy on football. Three years after the launch, we became the largest Football Academy in Romania, with over 30 players already present in national football teams circuit. Any project needs strong partners, that would understand the passion for sports and that why I am glad I started Next 11 project together with Pepsi. Next 11 is based on passion, authenticity, respect, involvement and team spirit, values that I want to see in the future players of Romanian national football team
The launch of Next 11 platform is marking also the fact Pepsi assumes for a long period of time this partnership with Gheorghe Hagi Football Academy.
The initial partnership between Pepsi and Gheorghe Hagi Football Academy started in 2010 and was meant to last for 3 years. Next 11 is a long term project and we wish to offer the Academy the necessary support so that The Team of the Future would become reality
