After the 3 nominations in Direct and the other 3 in PR, judges from Media Lions decided that 3 out of the 16 works entered in this competition by Romanian agencies deserve to go further and aim for a Lion.

- Saatchi&Saatchi Bucharest – 2 nominations in Best Use of Integrated Media and Charities, Public Health & Safety, Public Awareness Messages with Repetition for “Horia Motoi” Autism Charity
Romanian agencies aren’t present on the shortlists from Mobile, Outdoor or Press Lions.
Although there is no Romanian entry on shortlist in press, an execution for Carturesti Romania entered the finals. The entry – “Lady of Books” – was made for Carturesti by Jandl Bratislava (Slovak Republic), by a team that also includes the Romanian copywriter Eugen Suman.
By category, Romania entered works in Cannes Lions as it follows: 9 in Film Lions, 13 in Press Lions, 11 in Outdoor Lions, 19 in Radio Lions, 6 in Cyber Lions, 9 in Direct Lions, 16 in Media Lions, 8 in Promo & Activation Lions, 1 in Titanium and Integrated Lions, 15 in PR Lions, 1 in Creative Effectiveness Lions and 2 in Branded Content & Entertainment Lions and none in Design Lions, Film Craft Lions and Mobile Lions.
