The biggest 10 Romanian communication groups had, last year, a turnover of over Euro 465.9M and a net profit of Euro 14.4M, Romanian Wall-Street.ro writes, after checking in with data from Finance Ministry.
The Group continued to keep the leading position, with a turnover representing 25% of the total obtained by first 10 companies active in the field. Also, its net profit was the highest, of almost Euro 5M. Leo Burnett Romania, second in the top, had a net profit of Euro 2.5M.
The total turnover of the 10 groups was last year higher by Euro 4M compared to 2010.
According to Wall-Street.ro, Romanian groups that scaled down their businesses in 2011 were Ogilvy Romania, BBDO Romania, Publicis, Mercury 360 and Havas. The groups that had increased turnover in 2011 were The Group, Leo Burnett, McCann Erickson, Centrade Saatchi&Saatchi and Lowe Romania, with highest growths reported to the Finance Ministry by Centrade Saatchi&Saatchi, Leo Burnett and McCann Erickson.
