Starcom MediaVest to handle Pernod Ricard Romani’s media account

October 5, 2012October 10, 2012 Cristina Blanaru Business, Media

Pernod Ricard Romania, leader on imported alcoholic drinks market in Romania, appointed Starcom MediaVest (Leo Burnett Romania) to handle its media account, following a pitch that took place in the start of September.

Starcom MediaVest Romania will handle, for the French company, the entire range of specific media services: consultancy and strategy, planning, media development and buying.

Pernod Ricard is worlwide co-leader in wines and spirited drinks production and distribution and has in portfolio brands such as Ballantine’s, Absolut, Chivas Regal, Jameson, The Glenlivet, Beefeater, Havana Club, Wyborowa, Malibu, Martell, G.H. Mumm, Perrier-Jouët and Jacob’s Creek.

We are very happy for the confidence vote Pernod Ricard gave us. We’re starting this relationship with a lot of enthusiasm and trust in our team’s capacity to rise to the prestige level of our new partner

Alexandra Iavorschi

Managing Director Starcom MediaVest.

We ran a complex evaluation pitch, including on less traditional criteria, such as agency’s strategic vision and the impact of certain brands and campaigns on company’s business structure and, of course, the new media proposals

Dumitru Titica

Marketing Director, Pernod Ricard Romania.

Starcom team dedicated for this project included Marian Petcu (Account Director), Radu Paul-Roman (Senior Media Planner), Alina Stanescu (Senior Non-TV Planner) and Silviu Toma (Digital Planner).

Pernod Ricard’s team includes Dumitru Titica (Marketing Manager), Nicoleta Dumitrascu (Brand Manager White Spirits), Irina Florea (Prestige Brands & PR Manager) and Bogdan Jianu (Junior Brand Manager Ballantine’s).
