Andreea Nemens took over, starting November, the position of Executive Director at GMP Advertising. Felix Tataru, founder GMP Advertising, remains General Manager.
Andreea will coordinate agency’s operational activity, client service, creative, strategy, AV & print production, graphic design & DTP departments. Following this move, Felix Tataru will have representative attributions and will be in charge with the strategy and a better integration of the services offered by the partner agencies.
I came to GMP 4 years ago, when the agency was defining a new mission, we were saying that we wabtnt “to help brands to help people” (…) A year later, in Cannes, Droga was preaching that already through campaigns and a new accolade was launched, Grand Prix for Good. Than we say, every year, in GMP, how hard is to keep your mission and remain competitive. But this means a challenge. To make from GMP Advertising a very creative agency, that cares of how it can influence in a good manner, through communication, people’s lives.

Today’s GMP needs Andreea more than me to lead its operations (…) I am an entrepreneur. I launched and managed for 12 years GMP Advertising in this spirit and, together with my colleagues, I raised the agency until this point. We reached the moment when GMP needs a complex management team, to bring the business to another level. Now 34 y.o, Andreea Nemens joined GMP Advertising in 2009, as Account Director for Timisoreana and, in the end of the same year, she took over as Client Service Director. She started her career in advertising in her 3rd year of University and, previous to becoming GMP’s Executive Director, she worked in 3 agencies: McCann, Leo Burnett and 23.
Andreea says that the experience of working in Romanian leading agencies, awarded for creativity and efficiency, made her acknowledge pride that people throw in when it comes of creative, client service and strategy fights, but also with clients’ ambitions. More than that, she experienced different business models and, this way, was able to shape up her own.
GMP Advertising is one of the main Romanian advertising agencies. During its 12 years history, the agency created successful stories for brands such as Timisoreana, Ciucas, Romtelecom, bauMax, Arctic, Apa Nova, Boom, Bucovina, Cocolino, Cosmote, Millennium Bank and Monte Banato.
