100% Romanian memes, with Nokia Asha – Meme Factory app, from Wunderman Romania

Creativity, Digital & Media, Social Media

Wunderman Romania created Nokia Asha – Meme Factory app, available on Nokia Romania’s Facebook page for a month. Facebook users are encouraged to forget the imported memes and to make their own within the app.

Each user has the possibility to create his own meme, using in a customized and creative way the images and elements available in apps data base.

A meme is an entertainment element created by user that consists in an amusing replica placed over a customized or standard image, an image that complees the idea expressed in a text message. After creating and saving a meme, the user can post it on his wall and invite his friends to vote it.

The meme gallery created by users during the contest is open for public vote and, on weekly basis, two of the most creative memes in the contest will be selected and awarded with a tshirt customized with those memes.

At the end of the competition, the big winner will be selected, taking in consideration the number of votes accumulated during the contest period and the opinion of the jury. The prize will consist in a Nokia Asha 311 phone and a wireless speaker Nokia Play 360°.

Nokia Asha – Meme Factory app was created for cool and full of life young people, that are in highschool or university, are passioned by tech and are using Facebook every day. We wanted to see them more “loud”, involved and experimenting more. And that is exactly the things Nokia Asha are the best at.
