Romanian PR agencies, shortlisted for Gold Sabre Awards 2013

Holmes Report published, yesterday, the shortlist for this year’s Sabre Awards, with 10 agencies from Romania competing for a trophy.

The Practice received 3 nominations (The Balkans category with “Take My Hand, Show That You Care!” (National Union of the Persons affected by HIV/ AIDS), Bloggers Outreach – “Bring a New Life to Your Home with IKEA Catalog 2013!” and Automotive –  “Renault Searches and Awards 100 Ambassadors of the Olympic Values”).

GolinHarris Bucharest and Medic One entered the shortlist also, in “The Balkans” category, with “Smart Girls Do It Once a Month/ The Smart Girls Circle”, while Grayling made it in finals with Discovery School (Discovery Networks CEEMEA). On the shortlist is also Ogilvy PR, with a multi-country program

People Public Relationships Agency made it on Sabre’s shortlist in Food Service category, with Cafeneaua Veche – reviving and celebrating the Oldest Cafe in Bucharest. People’s project – realized together with the advertising agency Gavrila & Asociatii (that handled the creative duties- competes in its categories with known brands such as Starbucks, Subway UK & Ireland, McDonald’s and JustEat.

We are happy that, after we put Cafeneaua Veche on Bucharest’s map again, this superb and full of history place was also put on Europe’s map with the nomination at the most important PR festival on the continent

Tech School“, made by Graffiti PR for UPC Romania, also made it on the shortlist, in Sabre Award for Superior Achievement in Brand Building – Brand Building by challenging the status quo. On the other hand, Bortun Olteanu was shortlisted in the multi-country program category with Gillette TURN UP, Procter & Gamble (along with United Partners Bulgaria and New Moment New Ideas Serbia)

Image PR also made it on the shortlist, in Employer Branding and Recruitement, with “Destination:Management” for Coca-Cola HBC Romania. Also, the agency qualified for a Silver Sabre (Certificate of Excellence for Infographics) with an infographic for the same campaign.

Action Global Communication was shortlisted for Gold Sabre in Financial Communication category, with “Building Investor Confidence in Romania – The Secondary Public Offering of Transelectrica

In Blogger Outreach,  Pi2PR was also nominated with Siemens Race, a campaign for Siemens that won 5 prizes in national and international competition during the last year.
