MEC Romania won Kaufland’s media account in Romania

June 12, 2013July 15, 2013 Cristina Blanaru Business, Creativity, Media

MEC Romania won the media account for Kaufland in Romania, following a pitch in which were involved known agencies on Romanian market.

Online is the future of communication in advertising, it is the one that involve actively the consumer and offers him the possibility to interact with the brand, so we needed a large and transparent pitch based on which we could make a decision. What differentiated MEC Romania from the rest of the agencies was the fact they had a performance approach in solving the brief. Moreover, they offered us insights based on our relevant brand KPIs in digital. The planning structure and the reports detailed on KPIs determined us to designate them winners of the account

Alexandra Cirstea

Kaufland will communicate digitally to accentuate its positioning in consumers minds as the brand dedicated to them. Online comes to round up Kaufland Romania’s communication efforts, being an essential component of retailer’s marketing mix, a mix meant to consolidate company’s position on the FMCG market.

We are happy to have won Kaufland as a client. The selection process was a very intense one, selection criteria were analyzed until the smallest details and selecting MEC Romania as a business partner is the result of the work made by a team of enthusiast and dedicated specialists. Retail is a very dynamic and interesting category, so we wait for the challenges that it will present to us

Cristina Apostolescu,

Deputy Head MEC Interaction
