How to Web prepares for 2013 edition, scheduled to take place in Bucharest on November 20-21, with an excellent line-up of speakers, a competition for start-ups and sessions dedicated to innovation, entrepreneurship and technology.

The event just launched its new website, where it makes available everything one needs to know about How to Web.

The latest to confirm their presence to event’s conferences, joining the already announced speakers, are:

  • Thomas Hartwig – CTO and co-founder of King.com, one of the biggest gaming companies in the world
  • Christian Reber – CEO and Co-founder of 6Wunderkinder, one of the fastest growing European tech startups
  • Paul Ford – CIO and Vicepresident of SoftLayer, one of the rising stars in the infrastructure game, acquired by IBM for 2bln USD in 2013

How to Web also opened the entry period for Startup Spotlight, a 4-days program & competition targeting the early stage tech startups from the CEE region. It will include pitching sessions, private workshops, 1-to-1 meetings with specialists and mentoring sessions. Also, the program puts up for grabs an USD 20,000 prize to the winning teams, with support of IXIA, How to Web’s partner

The event reached this year at its 4th edition and expects an audience of over 800 people. In the same time, Startup Spotlight will bring together the best 32 teams in the region, exceptional mentors and representatives from the most appreciated business accelerators in the world.

Among the subjects to be discussed at the event are innovation and scalability, apps for mobile devices, software-as-a-service and social games, big data and intelligent interfaces, hardware and IoT, localization and CEE market’s particularities.
