The 11th edition of Romanian PR Award attracted a record number of entries: 258 projects in the 28 competition categories.
The most attractive categories for the Romanian PR professionals were Digital PR & Social Media (24), PR for Marketing (22), Media Relations (20), Events (19), Corporate Communication (18), CSR (15) and Internal Communication (14).
Among the agencies present with projects in this year’s competition are The Practice, McCann PR, GolinHarris Bucharest, Rogalski & Damaschin PR, GMP PR, Graffiti PR, Saatchi & Saatchi PR, Bortun Olteanu, People Public Relationships Agency, Prais Corporate Communication, Point Public Affairs, Chapter 4, Pi2 PR, Oxygen PR, OMA Vision, Action Global Communication, V+O Communication, Image PR, SmartPoint, MakeSense PR, Media Pozitiv, ConanPR, Medical PR Agency and Webstyler. These agencies will also enter the race for The Agency of the Year.
The judging process takes place between October 15th and November 10th, with the judging being made by communication directors from 11 countries, working for companies such as : Procter & Gamble, Royal Philips Electronics, Vodafone, Siemens AG, Electrolux, JTI, Raiffeisen Bank, URSUS Breweries, Rompetrol, BCR, Mercedes-Benz, BNR, Bancpost, Henkel, Petrom, Coca-Cola Hellenic, KFC, Provident Financial, reprezentanţi ai agenţiilor globale Edelman, GolinHarris, Ketchum, Weber Shandwick, MSLGroup, Gagen MacDonald, Burson-Marsteller, Ketchum Pleon, Grayling, MSL GROUP, Action Global Communications, Grayling, TMA Communications, executives from local PR agencies PR (Graffiti PR, Rogalski Damaschin Public Relations, McCann PR, The Practice, Oxygen Public Relations, Media Pozitiv, PRAIS Corporate Communications, GMP PR, Brandient, Storience, V+O Communication) and independent consultants, researchers and representatives from specialized international organizations (CIPR, PRCA, AMEC, United Nations, Forum for International Communications and United Nations Development Programme)
Romanian PR Award gala will take place on November 21st, at Romanian Parliament’s Palace.
