Zenith Media started its activity on October 30th 1988, in a redesigned storehouse from Paddington (London). Former media buying department within Saatchi & Saatchi, BSB Dorland and KHBB, Zenith Media continued its way as a separate entity, initially just in UK – where it keeps having its central headquarters – than at international level, with notable launches happening in China in 1994 and US in 1995.
In 1989, Publicis launched Optimedia in France and, in 2000, the 2 businesses merged, after Publicis Groupe bought Saatchi & Saatchi. Same year, following its owner itinerary, Zenith Media Romania appeared on the market, separating from Bates Centrade Saatchi & Saatchi.
In 2012, ZenithOptimedia launched its positioning as The ROI Agency. Starting from its media buying roots, ZenithOptimedia expanded and incorporated new specialized companies Performics (digital performance marketing), Newcast (branded content), Moxie (full service digital), Ninah (analytics) and Sponsorship Intelligence.
2012 was also the year when Romanian local agency rebranded and also changed its name from Zenith Media Romania in Zenith Romania.
In 1997, I was media director at Bates Centrade Saatchi& Saatchi. During the same year, I was going to London to get acquainted with Zenith’s values and culture. Right after, I participated to the first global conference of the young network Zenith Media. An apparently long period of time has passed, but it was dominated by a constant: permanent challenges. Together always with the best team. We enjoyed every minute and we do the same today, with the same passion and enthusiasm as in the beginning. And it seems that, professionally, we become better every day
