Ferrara Candy Company and Periscope launched a new brand campaign, including a new Brach’s website. The new brand campaign, “Break Out the Brach’s,’ calls to mind moments to celebrate and the new site features a one-of-a-kind “Virtual Taste Test.” This campaign is timed with the launch of six new products: Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Bites, Dark Chocolate Blueberry Acai, Real Fruit Gummies, Strawberry Greek Yogurt Granola Bites, Super Fruit Gummies and Trail Mix Clusters.
Since its inception in 1904, Brach’s candy has been a household name holding great brand affinity. Now, the iconic brand that created the classic Candy Corn and Milk Maid Caramels, has a new campaign to emphasize its relevance in the present day.
Periscope has reinvigorated the iconic Brach’s brand with the new ‘Break Out the Brach’s’ campaign, showing how life gives you moments large and small to celebrate
Marketing Director Brach’s.
The campaign centers on a plethora of “Break Out the Brach’s” moments across digital platforms in both paid and earned media.
An innovative piece of the new website is the Virtual Taste Test. Consumers can select one of the six new products and experience the deliciousness through beautiful graphics, mood music, and a selection of words that describe each component of the candy.
Creating a new digital experience was an exciting challenge for the creative team.
With the Virtual Taste Test, consumers now have the chance to experience the six new products before they even hit the tips of their tongues (…) It’s a really fun, interactive way for the consumer to use the website with a sweet treat at the end — a coupon for their real-life taste test.
