McCann Bucharest scooped Gold, Silver and Bronze at Eurobest 2014

For the second year in a row, McCann Bucharest and Vodafone Romania win Gold, Silver and Bronze at Eurobest, the most important European advertising festival.

The prizes won at this year’s edition of Eurobest are adding to another 5 international prizes won by “Ghita the Social Shepard” campaign in 2014, namely Bronze in Cannes Lions, and Grand Prix and 4 Gold at Golden Drum.

Also in 2014, the same campaign scooped Grand Effie at Romanian Effie 2014.

At Eurobest, the agency and the client were awarded for the campaign as it follows: Gold in PR, Silver in Media and Bronze in Integrated.

We are honored by the prizes obtained at this year’s edition of Eurobest, as Ghita the Social Shepard was awarded to many international festivals during the last year. The 3 accolades from Eurobest confirm us the fact that the stories we’re telling are relevant and authentic not only locally. Ghita the Social Shepard campaign had impressive results: in just a month since launch, Ghita was already one of the most popular social media characters, managing to reach top 3 celebrities in Romania on Facebook, while the sales of smartphones in Vodafone stores managed, for the first time, to surpass the sales of feature phones
