IAB Romania invites local industry to enter its achievements to MIXX Awards 2015

IAB MIXX Awards, prestigious annual digital advertising competition, recognizes and awards the most creative and impactful campaigns and projects in Romanian online, encouraging innovation in building and communicating brands in the online environment. The entries for the 4th edition of Romanian IAB MIXX Awards  2015 are now open on www.mixxawards.ro, until May 31.

Awards’ gala is scheduled to take place on June 11th, during ICEEfest. The current edition of Romanian IAB MIXX Awards is exclusively sponsored by Piraeus Bank Romania.

Digital is the trendsetter in innovation and creativity during the last years and these are values that Piraeus Bank is building its communication strategy on in 2015. Through the partnership with IAB MIXX Awards, we have the chance to help promoting projects that changed the online communication environment during the last year, but also to recognizing those agencies who had the inspiration to propose and implement them

This year, the structure of categories was improved by introducing 2 new ones: one dedicated to online video and one to publishing projects.Also, categories’ names were revised to better reflect the reality of the local industry, to be easier to understand and facilitating both the entry and the judging.

One of the ways we can develop the industry is by promoting the performance and IAB MIXX Awards tries to select, at industry’s level, in each category, examples of performance to recommend further. This way, winners are not only the companies involved in the best campaigns and projects, but also the entire industry

The jury of the competition will establish the winners based on internationally established criteria, with the projects entered in competition receiving points for strategy, idea’s creativity, execution, implementation and results, both in terms of achieved visibility and in using efficiently the invested budget.

The winners at Romanian IAB MIXX Awards will be recommended for IAB MIXX Award Europe 2016 and IAB MIXX Awards US, and also to be present in different international catalogs promoting efficiency and creativity in digital.

The competition will recognize performance in 11 categories: Brand Awareness Campaign, Best Performance Campaign, Most Experimental and Innovative Campaign, Best Cross-Media Integration, Best Native Advertising Campaign/Project, Best Mobile Campaign, Best Rich Media Display, Best Social Media Campaign, Best Digital PR Campaign, Best  Video Campaign and Best Publishing Project. Besides those 11 category awards, the best digital agency of the year will receive the distinction Best Digital MIXX Award.

IAB MIXX Awards Romania is organized under licence and following the standards established by IAB US. Similar competitions take place in multiple countries, like Belgium, Turkey, Poland, Italy or Spain.
