McCann Erickson Romania won, for the 5th year in a row, awards at Cannes Lions; this year, the winning campaigns were Sunday Grannies and Ghita, the Social Shepard, both for the same client, Vodafone Romania.
With these new Lions, the total number of accolades scooped by McCann Bucharest at Cannes Lions reaches to 21 in 5 consecutive years.
Ghita The Social Shepard – for Vodafone Romania – won a Bronze in Creative Effectiveness competition, which is a first for Romania. On the other hand, Sunday Grannies – for the same client – scooped 2 Bronze in Promo & Activations and 1 Bronze in PR.

This is the fifth consecutive year when Cannes isn’t just a simple holiday, but a new reason to throw a party. The Cannes Effectiveness award sets a new standard for the recognition of efficiency from Romania, in an objective manner, outside the borders, a guarantee of the exceptional performances we achieved with this campaign.
