Essilor teams up with Herezie for eSports; Eyezen-Challenge.com, the first eye-gaming experience

Essilor, the world leader in ophthalmic optics, today launches Eyezen-Challenge.com in association with Fnatic, world’s leading eSports team. This immersive digital gaming experience allows everyone to challenge a Fnatic eSports star, using only their eyes!

The principle is simple: with your eyes, challenge “League of Legends” (the most popular online game on the planet) star Rekkles. The duel takes the form of a classic “shoot ‘em up” game and brings it to a new level with a special twist: players use only their eyes. Cutting-edge eye-tracking technology allows players to neutralize targets and harmful blue-violet lights with precise eye movements.  Winners will have a chance to see Fnatic play live!

This experience was created to present a young audience with Essilor Group’s latest product, Eyezen. These lenses relieve and help protect the eyes with innovative Eyezen™ Focus technology, which filters out harmful blue light. Eyezen is designed for a connected life.
