“Turn up the volume of nature” for WWF, a campaign made by ThinkDigital Romania for 18 European countries

Creativity, Digital & Media

ThinkDigital Romania and WWF give you the opportunity to participate at the biggest symphony made by nature sounds, as ICEEfest.com informs. The campaign’s purpose is to draw attention to the legislative changes that can have a negative impact on the environment in these countries. More precisely, by the end of 2016 the European Commission and the Council of Environment Ministers are scheduled to decide whether the EU Birds & Habitats Directives will be revised or not.

A development that ignores the limits of ecosystems leaves behind an environment which is not beneficial to society in the medium and long term. If we want to preserve the last corners of wildlife in Europe and their benefits, we need better information and civic involvement to influence political decisions in favor of man and nature

Diana Cosmoiu,

Regional Specialist WWF-Romania.

Local versions of the WWF websites from all these countries have a special section dedicated to this campaign. There, an app will help you create your own sound with nature elements.

The more sounds, the more chances that this message will be heard. That’s because both sounds and messages will be send to the Enviroment Minister that represent each country in Bruxelles.

ThinkDigital Romania was designated to handle the campaign after a pitch that took place in January and to which other 4 digital agencies were invited to present their ideas. “Turn up the volume of nature” was the concept chosen by the WWF office from Bruxelles.

This is the second collaboration between Thinkdigital Romania and WWF Romania in 2016. “Iubeste” (en: Love) app was released on February 14, on Valentine’s Day. The campaign combines people’s need to provide their loved ones affection with the instinct to protect the environment.
