The Thailand Race, a competition for travelers and adventurers from Qatar Airways

Creativity

Qatar Airways launched a challenge for adrenaline and travel lovers, to travel to Thailand between October 22nd and November 1st, 2016, and compete for the grand prize: a 2-person trip in Thailand, next year.

The competition is organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in partnership with Qatar Airways, and offers Romanian and Bulgarian explorers the chance to live an incredible experience in one of the most appreciated exotic destinations in the world.

The Thailand Race is one of the most beautiful projects we had the opportunity to organize over the years, launched with the support of our partners, Qatar Airways. This competition represents more than a trip, it is a unique life experience and that’s why we encourage anyone to participate

Bogdan Gligor,

He are honored to be partners of this initiative and to facilitate Romanians’ access to less reachable areas. Through this collaboration, we want to promote tourism as an experience and encourage our passengers to explore the world

Entries can be submitted online, by filling in the entry form. Those interested will need to detail in a video why they want to enter the race and submit a description of what adventure means to them. The first ten registrations by number of likes on social media will enter the Final, when a jury will vote for the best story. The Romanian vote’s winner will be announced on October 5th and will go to Thailand between October 22nd and November 1st, 2016, for the live race, where they will team up with Cabral, one of the most appreciated bloggers in Romania:

The Thailand Race is a great opportunity to discover Thailand. We are looking forward to some entertaining days and a lot of beautiful places to see, where we will meet a new culture

Cabral

Romanian and Bulgarian teams will meet in Bangkok, where they will receive a map with clues, a budget, and will be led to the starting point. They will compete against each other by following instructions to gain points and return to Bangkok. The team with the most points will win The Thailand Race, and the big prize – a trip in Thailand in 2017 – will go to the lucky participant.

More details on the race and entries are available online, on a dedicated website.
