In Romania, UAPR keeps its president, designates new Board

Romanian Association of the Advertising Agencies (UAPR) designated a new board for the next two years and re-elected Stefan Iordache as its president.

UAPR designated the new Board during its General Assembly which took place on November 9th. Stefan Iordache, CEO Lion Communication, will continue as president for the next two years.

The new Board has Radu Florescu (CEO Centrade | Cheil) as VP, while the members are Dana Bulat (General Manager United Media), Radu Miu (CEO Mercury 360), Dana Nae Popa (Managing Director, pastel), Alexandra Olteanu (Managing Director Initiative) and Mirel Plesca (CFO Ogilvy & GroupM).

UAPR’s ongoing projects will continue to focus on the 3 already underlined directions: studies and researches regarding the evolution of the communication industry in Romania, specific education and regulation, self-regulation and promoting the interests of the industry in relation with other associations or with authorities. To be able to accelerate industry’s development, we aim to involve more agencies – members or not within UAPR – in association’s projects. Together we are stronger

UAPR aims to maintain the cooperation with European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) but also with all the important local association IAA, IAB, ARMA, BRAT, ARA, RAC and so on.
