The Specialist Works launches first campaign for Photobox

Business, Creativity

Independent international media agency The Specialist Works is launching the first of its campaigns with ecommerce photo gifting brand Photobox.

The campaign launches on October 8th, running across TV and video channels in the UK and France. The Specialist Works, which is delivering the communications strategy, media planning and buying, has devised the media strategy using its ‘what’s possible?’ planning approach.

The creative by agency Who Wot Why focuses on the importance of permanently capturing everyday meaningful moments with the ones you love. The Specialist Works has planned an agile campaign around TV and content which highlight families and relationships with the campaign kicking off in the UK within C4’s launch night of Old People’s Homes for Four-Year-Olds. It will be followed with spots in C4’s Celebrity First Dates Stand Up 2 Cancer and ITV transgender child drama Butterfly. The Specialist Works’ strategy is to remind consumers that Photobox can help them share and treasure moments with the ones they love and transform a meaningful photo into a thoughtful gift – any day of the week, any time of year.

Matthew Pover, Chief Client Officer The Specialist Works:

Photobox is a fantastic direct to consumer brand and we’re delighted to be working with them again to drive domestic and international growth. Our campaign will help Photobox be the creator and curator of the moments we cherish most. We hope the campaign will encourage everyone to think more about the value of memories and how to free them from their digital confines; sharing them in a meaningful way with loved ones rather than chasing likes and follows.

Jo Lavender, Brand and Marketing Director Photobox :

We are confident that The Specialist Works’ evidence-based and agile approach will ensure people connect with our mission to help customers realise the year-round potential of building relationships and connecting with loved ones through the permanence of thoughtful and meaningful photo gifting.
