Romania: Publicis to handle communication for all OLX Group’s brands

Starting August, Publicis Romania is the new agency selected by OLX Group Romania to communicate its entire portfolio of brands: OLX, and The selection of the agency was made following a 3-months long pitch.

OLX Romania is the leader of the local classifieds market, is the biggest website for selling and buying cars, while is a complex online platform, premium, specialized in sales and rentals in real estate sector.

Publicis Romania – that had as client previous to winning the entire OLX brands portfolio – will provide creative, strategy, digital and BTL services for all 3 brands reunited under the umbrella of OLX Group.

We got to know OLX since 2017, when we won pitch. After the first meeting, I had a Freddie Mercury moment and told Cosmin Anghel, on the way out: „If in 2-3 years we are not taking it all, it is exactly our fault. I want to work with these people”. We are mainly speaking about a very cool relation with a group who understood objectives can be achieved without compromise in the creative discourse – practically the dream of any creative person. You have a digital leader that knows it can be difficult to hold the crown on the head if you don’t keep coming with something better, crazier, more memorable. Challenge accepted!
