Fairo, the financial app helping PFAs realize more of their business goals by doing less paperwork, launched a new exclusive feature for its users – FairoSync.

The new feature makes keeping an overview over client income streams even easier by allowing users to connect their bank accounts to Fairo.

The promised benefits from it:

  • Automatic invoice status tracking: Through the invoice-payment pairing technology users are always up-to-date which invoices are paid, overdue and outstanding.
  • Full overview of all their bank accounts in one place: Users do not have to switch to their banking apps anymore to stay on top of their finances.
  • Coming soon: Push notifications on invoice payments: Users are notified anytime an invoice has been paid or is overdue.

FairoSync was built to drive automation while at the same time ensuring the highest level of financial data security for its users. Fairo partnered up with the global bank data integration specialist SaltEdge to offer best-in-class security controls to protect user data. FairoSync’s most relevant security aspects involve Encryption, Password and account protection and a Read-only connection, which ensures that the API service used has no capability to move money or make withdrawals from connected user accounts.

“Fairo is built to make the life of freelancers as easy as possible. FairoSync is just the beginning of the many features we plan to release to help freelancers regain time to focus on their business and do things they are passionate about. We are fully committed to this goal and are working hard towards the next big milestones: Making our free tax calculator and free tax reporting features available to our users very soon.”, says Igor Prerovsky, CEO Creative Dock Austria.

Fairo started its journey this year by first making its invoicing feature available. The freelance app’s growing user base already enjoys creating invoicing in a few easy steps, the possibility to issue invoices in multiple languages and currencies and to share invoices with clients directly from the app.

Fairo invites everyone to enter Fairo  Virtual Escape Room, to compete in a captivating challenge and to enter into a raffle for: a one-year Netflix premium subscription, a Fujifilm Instax Mini camera, a 500 lei H&M voucher and for PFAs, a 700 euro voucher for a city break in Europe.

Coming soon: The Fairo journey will take users to enjoy more features and benefits: automatic tax calculations, tax report generation in a few clicks, simplified bookkeeping and a Fairo Bank account to pay taxes directly from the app. Right now, the application is designed for freelancers operating as PFAs. Before the end of the year, the Fairo team plans to have the app open for micro LLCs as well.

Fairo is available for free in App and Play Store and it even welcomes new users by rewarding them with a 50 lei bonus for creating their first invoice with the app.

Fairo is an innovative service developed by Austrian start-up Creative Dock with the support of Raiffeisen Bank International. The app first launched in Ukraine in July 2020 with great success, enjoying popularity amongst more than 30k registered users. Its launch in Romania makes it the first country to be impacted in the EU market, with future expansion into other EU countries planned. Fairo offers freelancers essential business management functions, such as invoice creation, payment tracking, automatic invoice status notifications, generating tax reports and bank account integration as a part of its list of features.
