Graffiti PR – biggest number of nominations for a Romanian agency at European Excellence Awards 2012

Graffiti Public Relations,  exclusiv Ketchum affiliate in Romania, has the highest number of nominations at European Excellence Awards 2012 among Romanian agencies. The campaigns “Tech School” for UPC Romania, “Doctor, you’re a hero” and “Green Shields for Communities”, last 2 both for Petrom, got a total of 4 nominations within the most important categories of Excellence Awards.

Tech School, developed for UPC Romania, enters the finals in “Telecommunications” and “Science and Education” categories, while Doctor, you are a hero!, Petrom campaign that won, in June, the 1st Effie for Romanian PR industry was selected among the finalists of “Issues and Reputation Management” category.

Another Petrom project is in finals in “Corporate Social Responsibility” category, Green Shields for Community, included among the best 5 European CSR campaigns.

Mircea Tomescu, Managing Director Graffiti PR, says the 4 nominations offer international recognition for projects already awarded in Romania.

There are already results that speak for the quality of the 3 projects, the support offered by UPC Romania or Petrom and Effie Awards and PR Awards accolades. The presence among the finalists at European Excellence Awards 2012 offers a new dimension to this quality. To be on that shortlist, we fought with hundreds of the best European PR campaigns. If we will make the step from finalists to winners, the victory will be not only for Graffiti PR, but also for the entire Romanian PR industry, that, during the last 5 years, delivered constantly projects awarded internationally

The most recent Graffiti PR award at Excellence Awards was won in 2010, when “Digital Zoo” project for UPC Romania a fost considerat cel mai bun al categoriei “Entertainment and Culture.”

The winners of 2012 competition will be announced on December 6th, at Roundhouse London, during an Awards Gala.

 Graffiti PR is one of the top Romanian PR agencies (in terms of turnover and number of consultants) and won multiple prizes in local and international competitions.
