McCann Erickson Romania signed the communication campaign MasterCard@TIFF, at the 2nd edition MasterCard was close to film fans during Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF), in Cluj Napoca (Romania).
MasterCard@TIFF campaign consisted on two interviews with the well known Romanian actors Mircea Albulescu and Tamara Buciuceanu, during which they shared to the public “priceless” moments from their career.
Another part of the campaign MasterCard@TIFF was a series of fake movies, intentionally filmed poorly and with the purpose to surprise the audience. The message at the end of them was “Gotcha! This is not the movie you came to see! The look on your faces: Priceless. MasterCard proudly presents the following movie”.
Also, at TIFF, MasterCard made its presence felt with branding and a team of mims that play different scenes on the streets of Cluj.
MasterCard@TIFF had also a social media component, with a contest of reviews announced on Twitter and that had as stake t-shirts and invitations at TIFF Gala.
McCann Erickson Romania’s team included Gabriela Alexandrescu – Group Account Director, Claudia Cristian – Senior Account Manger, Oana Uta – Senior Account Executive, Diana Ceausu – Strategic Planner, Andrei Daniluc – Copywriter and Ana Romila – Art Director. From MasterCard, in this campaign were involved Ioana Gorganeanu – Marketing Manager, Georgia Baltag – Assistant Marketing Manager.
