Yahoo to launch its Romanian website in 2011

Yahoo will launch, at the start of next year, the Romanian page for its email service, as Matthew West, the content and development manager of Yahoo, said, Tuesday, at RoNewMedia 5.0.

According to West, the page will include both the email and the instant messanger service in Romanian. Also, Yahoo intends to hire a representative in Romania by the end of the year.

Also at RoNewMedia, Marvin Liao, Yahoo EMEA Commercial Director, said that Yahoo services are used, in Romania, by over 8.2M people, or 80% of the people that have access to the internet.
