Vodka preseted as a health remedy angers Russian authorities

The ads presenting vodka as a remedy to improve health angered the Russian authorities, with The  Federal Antimonopoly Service for the Samara region taking action against the company that authorized the commercial, according to RIA Novosti.

The ads saying that vodka is “health improving product” ran over Internet and also used phrases as “it improves digestion, and helps get rid of colds and headache.” Also, the ads claimed that the drink “alleviates fatigue and bad moods.”
