Siemens Romania launches the 2nd edition of Siemens Race, a project that was very successful last year and awarded at Romanian PR Award.
This year, the teams of bloggers involved in the campaign are: Alex Mazilu & Razvan Baciu, Alex Negrea & Adrian Ciubotaru, Andrei Crivat & Marius Sescu, Cristina Bazavan & Cristina Chipurici, Dan Dragomir & Razvan Pascu. The 5 teams will race through 13 Romanian towns and will cover a distance of over 1,500 km.
Through the 2nd edition of Siemens Race, the company aims to bring in public focus the existence of environmental compatible solutions for big Romanian towns, involving people and authorities in the process of early adopting them for a sustainable future. The mix of online-offline the campaign offers will allow the public to experiment during each stage of the race, together with the bloggers on the field.
Same like last year, Siemens Race 2012 will materialize exclusively through social media instruments. The bloggers will be able to make the online itinerary only with the help from online fans, that will offer the needed solutions to solve race’s tests. Differently from the 1st edition, the competition is more intense now, by increasing the number of involved bloggers, introducing new tests and expanding the time allocated to the race (…)
Also, the bloggers will experiment offline, this year, a bigger number of sustainable development technologies, their itinerary being completely different from the one in 2011

The bloggers teams will make their own promotional strategy and award, at the final of the Race, the most active fans.
The race is schedule to take place between May 10-16 and will include 13 Romanian towns where the teams will have to discover the Siemens solution in order to accumulate the points needed to win.
Siemens Race is a Siemens Romania project realized together with Pi2PR agency. The 1st edition of the project received Silver Award for Excellence in Environment Projects Communication category at Romanian PR Award 2011.
