Chevrolet announce the judging of Young Creative Chevrolet (YCC) 2012, with it taking place on May 22nd and works being evaluated by Wilhelmina Arz, Loreta Isac, Cristian Lupsa, Alin Galatescu, Hypo, Noper, Leonard Nica and Florentina Stoica.
The jury selected 3 winners for each discipline: fashion design, visual arts, video and photography. The ones that will receive the accolades in each category will be announced on May 30th, during an awards ceremony. The winners of the 1st place in each category will enter the European finals of the competition.
This year, the competition saw a record number of participant institutions (9).
Chevrolet Europe launched the applied arts contest in 2007, aiming to encourage creativity and support young artists at the start of their career. Each year, more and more young artists answer the creative challenges Chevrolet has for them.
In 2012, entries for YCC were submitted by students from Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Letonia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and UK.
