Romanian atheneum hosted, on Friday, Philip Kotler’s marketing training, an event that was attended by marketing professionals and managers. The certified Marketing 3.0 training was held by Kotler and organized by V+O Communication, in partnership with Choice Management & Consulting and Confident PR.

The most visionary companies in Romania sent on Friday hundreds of managers and marketing professionals to find out from “the father of marketing” about how one can manage the most important business challenges and opportunities , how to search and exploit at max new ideas and methods for marketing strategies and how to improve the power of the brand.

It was a once in a lifetime unique experience for Romanian business’ marketing professionals to find out directly from professor Philip Kotler the latest information on his new marketing model – Marketing 3.0. Professor Kotler spoke today about the power of branding through human spirit oriented thinking, the human side of Marketing 3.0, the way to apply segmentation, targeting and positioning in order to conquer markets, and than to apply efficiently the differentiation for product and brand building

Philip Kotler  is the founder of modern marketing management, professor of international marketing at Superior School of Management J. L. Kellogg at Northwestern University US. He has an economics degree at Chicago University and got his licence as doctor in economy at Massachusetts Technology Institute.

Philip Kotler is the inventor of the “4P”s (that now transformed into the “7P”s) and also the inventor of social marketing concept. He is involved in activities aimed towards researching and developing marketing for over 55 years.

Philip Kotler is the author of “Marketing Management” – a book that reached its 13th edition and is used as marketing manual in business universities all over the world. Also, he is the only triple winner of Alpha Kappa Psi (AKP) award for the best article of the year published in Journal of Marketing. Starting 1998, Philip Kotler is among Top 50 gurus in business at international level and, in 2008 and 2009, he was in top 10 business gurus around the world.
