Romanian ABC: Romanian newspapers – circulation down in 2nd trimester of 2012

Romanian newspapers posted, between April-June 2012, a decrease of circulation compared to the similar period of 2012, with the most sold titles during the period being tabloids, Click! (Adevarul Digital Media) and Libertatea (Ringier Romania), Mediafax writes. According to BRAT (Romanian Bureau for Circulation Audit), the central press, mainly quality titles, posted decreases in sales.

Within quality segment, the leadership is assumed by Romania libera (Media Gamma Publishers), although it posted an average decrease in number of sold copies of around 10,000 compared to the similar period in 2011. Second comes Adevarul (Adevarul Digital Media), followed by Jurnalul National (Intact Publishing) and Evenimentul zilei (Editura Evenimentul Zilei şi Capital)

When it comes of sports publications, Gazeta Sporturilor (Convergent Media, part of Intact Group), is on the 1st position, followed by Pro Sport (Mediafax Group).

Among tabloids, the 1st place goes to Click! (Adevarul Digital Media), followed by Libertatea (Ringier Romania) and Cancan (Cancan Media), a publication that recently ceased its print appearance.
