GPD Idea and Lidl invite consumers in a journey to “The Heart of France”

Starting October 1st, GPD Idea and Lidl Romania launched a promotional campaign to enchant senses, with “The French Week” and “From the heart of France” aiming to bring to Romanians tables the perfect balance between French cuisine and French wines.

Since the campaign start, Romanians speak  French, as Lidl starts a real treat for the senses with “French Week” (an exquisite selection of French wines) that will make consumers enjoy life.

Lidl and GPD are bringing on customers table the perfect balance between French cuisine and the finest wines, in a campaign which has GDP responsible for the creative concept and Aurelian Temişan and Antonio Passarelli as TV ads stars.

The ads promoting “French Week” from Lidl and the French wine collection were shot in Bordeaux as well as in some other fascinating locations such as Saint-Émilion, a small town registered as a world heritage by UNESCO, Château d’Arche şi Château La Roque.

The campaign is another step in showing how committed the brand is in delivering the best products for best prices. Right now it’s wine, which is an important drink for the Romanians. The idea is to carefully choose and deliver great tastes of wine from best wineries to the people in Romania at the price that is a real bargain. All the wines were searched for and tasted by specialists including the partner of the campaign – vinul.ro. As the first international campaign “The best from Europe, the best from Romania”– it focuses on journey, which symbolizes commitment that the entire Lidl family has into delivering to the promise of best products at the best prices, which is not easy, but as we prove it, fully achievable

The advertisign campaign, made by Romanian and Polish teams of GPD, is declined on TV, press, OOH and radio. Also, French wine collection was presented in a wines catalog that was distributed together with Ziarul Financiar, Romania’s most important business daily.
