RAAA organizes 3 new EACA classes

Romanian Advertising Agencies Association organizes, on November 7th, 13th and 15th, 3 new European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) classes for practitioners and aspirants in the communication industry.

Paul Burns will hold, on November 7th, “Creating Opportunities by Understanding Client Business” class, dedicated mainly to account managers and account executives. Participants will be able to learn which are the tools and how to find motivation and trust to dig deeper and ask the right questions. The class will be a mix of case studies, workshop sessions, jokes and discussions.

On November 13th, Gurdeep Puri will teach Communication Effectiveness”, while Dietmar Dahman will hold, on November 15th, the workshop “Jumpstart Digital”

Each of the classes will take place at RAAA’s headquarters, starting 09.00 until 16.00. The max number of participants for a class is 25, with the price per ticket varying for RAAA members (Euro 130), non-RAAA members (Euro 150) and student (Euro 50).

Gurdeep Puri spent 10 years in Leo Burnett, where he was Head of Effectiveness Strategy, with the main responsability to integrate efficiency among the strategic functions of the agency. He worked with planners for multinational or UK brands, among which Kellogg’s, Procter & Gamble, Fiat, McDonald’s, Nintendo, Heinz, Morgan Stanley, Holiday Inn and Barclays Global Investors. He won 5 IPA Effectiveness awards and 11 European Effectiveness Awards.

Paul Burns spent 24 years within Saatchi & Saatchi, where he joined as Account Executive in 1984 and where he was rapidly promoted within the London board. Afterwards, he became Training Director and, since 2005, he was the 1st to ever be appointed as Director of Knowledge Practices. He created and managed the most awarded training program in advertising industry.

Dietmar Dahman has 25 years of experience in advertising, accumulated in Hamburg, Los Angeles, Munchen, New York and Vienna. He works in traditional media and owns a new media company, advises important brands on international campaigns, finds unique solutions for small Alpes hotels, coaches CEOs and directs TV ads. He started his career as Strategic Planner (Lintas) and, afterwards, he was Creative Director (DDB Heye), Executive Creative Director (Ogilvy) and Chief Creative Officer (BBDO). Since 2005, he started teaching advertising and won, with his students, 11 Gold and Silver awards at YDA – Cannes.
