Chainsaw Europe Studio, one of the most active audio-video post-production companies on Romanian market, handled the editing and video editing, sound design and sound mix for “Superman, Spiderman or Batman”, the most recent success of a Romanian cinema production oversees.

Directed by Tudor Giurgiu, the short film was designated “The best European short film” at the 25th edition of European Film Academy Awards, that took place on December 1st, in Valetta (Malta).

Chainsaw Europe team that worked on the internationally awarded project included Eugen Kelemen – editing, Marius Leftarache – sound and Irina Stanciulescu – post-production coordination.

When you make movies, you don’t think at awards, you just have in your mind, beyond anything, the viewer. If, in production or post-production stage, you let your creativity driven by intuition, it is very probable to win, in one December day, together and for other 19M Romanians, this kind of international prize. I am happy that the efforts and creativity in Romanian cinema are awarded more and more often abroad

Eugen Kelemen,

Film Editor Chainsaw Europe.
