AXN and Sony Mobile – together in campaign to promote Hannibal series

Sony Mobile is the main sponsor in Central Europe for Hannibal, the most recent original drama series ordered by SPT Networks for its international TV portfolio, including AXN in Central Europe. Sony Xperia Z mobile phone will be integrated in most elements of on-air promotion.

The campaign will be perfectly synchronized when it comes using unconventional advertising instruments in Central Europe and will run, in the same time, in 6 countries, namely Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

The innovative campaign will integrate scenes from Hannibal in product’s commercials, both in ads specially created by the sponsor and the promos branded Sony Mobile that limit the advertising breaks. The public will meet Sony Xperia Z in a valuable and relevant environment. Moreover, the new Sony smartphone will be the main prize offered to the winner of the online contest that will star Hannibal. The campaign will run until the end of Hannibal’s first season, which is July 3rd.

The sponsorship package was proposed and developed by Sony Pictures Television Networks (SPTN), Central Europe division. In making this campaign were involved PHD (Sony Mobile’s media agency) and Cable Direct (that handles AXN’s advertising sales in Romania).

Produced by Gaumont International Television in association with SPT Networks (via AXN Original Production), Hannibal has the premiere in April, in SPT’s network in 63 countries and 18 languages in the entire world.
