Bergenbier fans sent over 53,000 invitations asking their friends to come in Beer Depot, using Depozitul de Bere app developed by iLeo. The app is part of “Friendship needs durable things” campaign and aims to promote the new innovative PET packaging from Bergenbier.
The app invites Bergenbier fans and their friends in a virtual depot – Depozitul de Bere Bergenbier – to be the first to that reserve and win PET packages. Each week, thousands of groups of friends participated to new interactive tests along with their friends.
During the campaign, the number of Bergenbier Romania page’s fans reached to 250,000, with over 7,000 groups of friends created withing the app and over 33,000 participations in weekly tests. Many of them participated to all the tests and loaded in the final test photos with the bought products, proving the buy this way.
With this app we showed that a smart mechanics (with the secret consisting in a small input from users followed by a spectacular output from brand) can double the number of people targeted through media. App’s fans sent, during the 8 weeks, over 53,000 invites to their friends, while the prizes consisted in the product we are promoting

The app is part of the newest Bergenbier campaign signed by Leo Burnett & Target. Running between March 8th – April 30, the campaign adds a new nuance to brand’s communication.
