Dragos Traistaru, one of the founders of Romanian Carioca Studio, is part of this year’s international jury that will have the mission to analyze, select and award the works competing during Red Apple, international advertising festival scheduled to take place in Moscow on September 26-27, at conference hall Digital October
The organizers for the festival announced that, just around 100 days left until the event’s debut, the call for entries is open, with works entered in competition until July 1st to benefit of a 25% discount for the entry fee.
This year’s Red Apple expects around 5,000 participants from 30 countries and over 1,500 works to be entered into this year’s competition.
Competition’s program suffered a few changes, with festival scheduled to include traditional competition categories such as “TV & Cinema Advertising”, “Communication Design”, “Print Advertising”, “Outdoor Advertising”, “DM-materials and souvenirs”, “Label and Packaging”, “Media Projects”, “Advertising Campaigns”, “Radio Advertising”, “Social Advertising” and “Promo Campaigns”. The nomination “Craft” is presented not only at “TV & Cinema Advertising” but also in “Print Advertising” and “Radio Advertising”.
When it comes of web projects, they are admitted not in Red Apple MIXX competition, but as an interactive part of Red Apple in “Interactive advertising (campaign)” and “Interactive advertising (tools)” categories.
Red Apple’s novelty for this year consists in the introduction of 2 new competition categories, namely “Low-budget advertising (made without the usage of professional equipment)” and “Innovative advertising”. Moreover, the first brief of “Young Creators” competition will be announced in September.
Red Apple will include a Scientific program and, this year, will explore the world of art, with participations of this community’s representatives, such as producers, designers, photographers and many experienced and talented professionals.
Moscow International Advertising and Marketing Festival Red Apple is a key and unique event in Russia of international level in the industry of advertising and marketing communications. Over 5,000 thousand people from 30 countries of the world attend the Festival every year. Traditionally , the Festival consists of competitive and scientific programs. The festival will be celebrated on September 26 and 27 in conference hall “Digital October”.
