Felix Tataru – IAA Champion award from IAA

Felix Tataru received IAA Champion award for “leadership, vision, dedication towards excellence in communication and contribution to global development of International Advertising Association”. He received the award from Faris Abouhamad, Chairman & Global President IAA, during the anniversary gala marking 75 years since IAA was founded.

The distinctions were nominal and aimed to recognize the individual efforts in promoting excellency in communication. Felix Tataru (40 y.o.) is the youngest member recognized during the Gala.

I humbly receive this award. I am the youngest among honorees and I am overwhelmed by the fact that I am on the same stage with people that made history in our industry during the last couple tens of years and as an encouragement for the years to come

Tataru was elected Senior Vice President IAA Global in June 2013.

Felix is the founder of GMP communication group, that has 150 employees in its 7 companies. He joined IAA Romania in 2004 and was elected president for more consecutive mandates, between 2006-2011. Starting 2008, he was VP for communication and young professionals in IAA’s global board and, starting 2015, when he finishes his Senior VP mandate, will become automatically Chairman and Global President IAA.

At IAA’s London event – “What’s coming next?” – there were 300 delegates from 25 IAA member countries.
