3 Young Lions teams and a student at Roger Hatchuel Academy are representing Romania at Cannes

Creativity, Festivals & Awards

The teams that qualified after the local competition from The Alternative School for Creative Thinking entered or will enter the profile competitions in Cyber, PR and Design. Them and a young student at Roger Hatchuel Academy are representing young Romania at Cannes Lions Cannes 2014.

In young creatives’ Design competition in Cannes, Romania’s team is Morph (Anca and Alina Nechita), supported by Renania, the same company that supported in 2013 the presence of Romania’s Gold winners in the same competition.

In PR, the team representing Romania is Remarkant (Isabela Stere and Alexandra Radu), endorsed by Unicredit Tiriac Bank, while the Romanian Cyber team is Flipsters (Razvan Ghilencea, Bianca Dumitrascu), supported by Academie+Plus, an educational project launched by Pitech Plus in 2013.

Andreea Adamescu, representing The Vandals team, is supported by Miniprix, and is the Romanian student at Roger Hatchuel Academy.

Teams profiles and the solutions they gave for the 7 briefs of The Alternative School for Creative Thinking’s Cannes semester are available on Facebook and they were the ones that helped the team get to Cannes

After the competition, the teams will enjoy the infusion of information Cannes Lions is offering and will return to Romania more rich, more inspired and wiser than when they left. It is a privilege for me to be able to facilitate the access to this kind of professional experiences which, through the quality of the offered information, are life-changing. Without the talent of the students and without the assumed support from Renania, Unicredit, Pitech+Plus or Miniprix, which made possible the presence at the festival for the 7 young Romanians, the entire plan to change industry’s face through top education will remain, most probably, a very nice story on paper

Teodora Migdalovici,
