After 18 festivals, Amanda Benfell turns over Cannes Lion&Lions Festival’s communication reins to Camilla Cole

Amanda Benfell, Head of Press & PR Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity & Lions Festivals, decided, after 18 editions of Cannes Lions, to leave the company. She will be replaced by Camilla Cole, previously Press & PR Officer, that takes over the position of Head of Press & PR.

Amanda left Cannes Lions festival team on July 4th, ending this way the Lions run that she started in 1997.

„I joined Cannes Lions in 1997, and having just completed my 18th Festival, it was a very difficult decision to leave such a great company which has been such a big part of my life. I’ve enjoyed an amazing journey working here, but I am looking forward to a new challenge, still within the industry”, Amanda wrote, in an email announcing her living the company.

Amanda will join The Gunn Report later this month, where she will assume the position of Director of Communications & Marketing .
