MediaTrust, provider of monitoring services, made an analysis presenting the most visible airlines in Romanian advertising, between January 1st and August 31st. During the analyzed period, a total of 725 ads promoting airlines ran in Romanian mass-media.
Blue Air ranked 1st, with 366 ads valued at Euro 330,379 rate card, followed by Austrian Airlines – 216 ads worth Euro 62,095 at rate card, and Emirates – 62 ads worth Euro 224.478 at rate card. The same top also includes Tarom (30 ads worth Euro 76.524 rate card), Pegasus Airlines (12 ads worth Euro 45.531), Air Baltic (10 ads worth Euro 11.682) and Wizz Air (8 ads worth Euro 28.211)
From the total number of ads, 375 were broadcasted on radio, 209 appeared on TV and 141 were in print. Among the media institutions that relayed most commercials for airlines to their public are Radio Zu (254), România TV (203) and Ziarul Financiar.
