Mihai Gongu, Executive Creative Director GMP Romania, was appointed Single Channel Jury President at this year’s edition of Golden Drum, replacing Andreas Pauli who, due to unforeseen personal obligations, wasn’t able to take on the duties.
With Mihai appointed new Single Channel Jury President, Manfred Wappenschmidt, Creative Director Leo Burnett Frankfurt, became member in Single Channel Jury.
The first set of Shortlists in groups D. Radio (Single), G. Digital (Single), H. Mobile (Single), N. New or innovative (Single), S. Digital campaigns including Mobile campaigns (Multi), T. Branded content (Multi), R. Direct campaigns (Multi), U. Events (Multi) and V. Public relations (Multi) are to be announced on Tuesday, at 16.00 (CET+1), on Golden Drum website.
First day of Golden Drum starts with Screening of Entries and finishes with the Golden Drummers Get Together Lounge Bar party. On Wednesday, the Screening of Finalists will take place before the first Opening Speech by the Agency of the Year 2013 by Dušan Drakalski, Regional Creative Director New Moment New Ideas Macedonia, followed by lectures from Mike Glaser, Marketing Lead Google Creative Partnerships, Bernhard Kerres, Founder & CEO Hello Stage, Mailine Swildens, Head of Creative Services YouTube & Google Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa, David Sandström, CEO DDB Stockholm, David Varela Writer & Producer UK, Catalin Dobre, Executive Creative Director McCann Bucharest and Sebastian Hejnowski, CEO MSLGROUP Poland.
The first Golden Drum festival was organized in 1994, beginning as a modest idea many considered bold and overreaching.
