McCann Worldgroup won, for the second year in the row, the title of Agency Network of The Year at Golden Drum 2014. McCann Bucharest was this year also the most awarded agency in McCann network and won 5 trophies: 1 Grand Prix, 2 Golden Drum, 2 Silver Drums and 4 nominations.
Agency Network of the Year is the most important distinction at GoldenDrum and the title goes to the network with the highest score for its nominated and awarded campaigns. This year, McCann Worldgroup gathered 141 points and won 3 Grand Prix, 4 Golden Drums, 7 Silver Drums, and also had 20 nominations. The countries that worked on McCann’s nominated or awarded campaigns are Romania, Turkey, Israel, Finland, Poland, Serbia, Croatia, Albania, Slovenia and Hungary.
I am extremely proud that we managed to hold the Network of the Year title and, what is most important is the fact that 10 countries contributed to this result, winning a total of 14 awards. This shows that the entire network is growing from a creative point of view. Mission accomplished!

Also, for the 2nd year in the last 4 years, Vodafone Romania was designated “Brand of the year”, winning 4 awards (1 Grand Prix, 2 Golden Drum, 1 Silver Drum) with “Ghita, The Social Shepherd” and a nomination for “Digital Library Wallapaper”. Both campaigns were developed by McCann Bucuresti.
Adrian Botan and I aim 2 main things for McCann: to be exceptional partners for network’s clients and to grow both their business and McCann’s and to grow constantly from a creative point of view. From business’ point of view, all agencies in the network progressed in 2013 and continue to grow in 2014, and the fact that this year 10 countries contributed to winning Network of the Year title shows that we grew also from a creative point of view. I have no doubt that, this year, competition was even stronger, we assumed this and we tried to keep up with it. Fortunately, the jurors considered we did it very well, considering the number of prizes won
President, Central and Eastern Europe and Nordic Countries, McCann Worldgroup.
