Romanian agency Tuio challenged Bucharest’s inhabitants to enter a gambling game having as stake Sephora products, as part of a project made for the cosmetics retailer. Beauty Jackpot, a game developed following the model of slot-machines from casinos, was installed in front of Cocor store in Bucharest, gathering hundreds of Sephora fans between October 20-26. The campaign continues on November 25-26, within Sun Plaza mall in Bucharest
Beauty Jackpot machine was connected to Cocor Store’s display, so that everyone pulling machine’s handle could see their reaction, in real time, on Cocor’s media facade. This way, with Tuios help, the experience of an ordinary contest became a real celebrity moment for players, with each participant having the option to enjoy a few seconds of fame.
The contest was communicated exclusively on Sephora Romania’s Facebook page, administrated by Tuio, with the participants needing to first enter a dedicated contest app in order to participate to the contest. Within the promotion, there were offered exclusively products Made in Sephora. Besides the won awards, the participants were automatically entered into a draw for a big prize, shopping Made in Sephora for a year.
Because we received a number of entries far bigger than expected and because the participants were extremely happy with contest’s concept, we can say our mission was accomplished. We made women fans happier, inviting them for a few moments in Sephora’s magical universe, far from routine, in a place where make-up products make you feel like a star.
