The Cup – a joint project of the four most relevant continental festivals – Asia-Pacific’s Adfest, Ibero-American FIAP, ADC*E and New European GOlden Drum – features a global battle of the best entries from all over the planet, with only the winners and finalists of these four festivals win the exclusive right to compete in the competition.
The 8th Cup Grand Finale and 2015 Award Show Gala will take place in Ljubljana at the Grand Hotel Union, and will be a chance to get together with the top-level creatives and industry thinkers as well as their ideas, thoughts and creations.
The succession of sessions during the event will include:
Winning Creativity from 5 Continents – the morning session that starts day’s program and that will include the presentations of The Cup’s competitors, 2014’s winners from AdFest, FIAP, ADC*E and Golden Drum.
Advertising’s Image and Its Public Perception Survey – study covering Serbia and Croatia made by GfK Belgrade (Serbia) and Ipsos Zagreb (Croatia) with Marijana Agic Molnar – Adriatic Region Manager Gfk and Ante Salinovic – Director of Marketing Research Ipsos, a session moderated by Aljosa Bagola – Executive Creative Director Pristo Slovenia
Young Academics in Dispute – session which will present different views on the future of advertising industry and its role in general economic activity and society as a whole. The session will be presented and discussed by students and alumni of top ranking regional universities of Ljubljana, is organized in partnership with Slovenian Marketing Association’s Student Section and moderated by Filip Dobranovic, European Universities Debating Championships ESL Champion
Our Career after the Berlin School of Creative Leadership – is the first afternoon session. It will be attended by Michael Conrad – president Berlin School of Creative Leadership and his alumni: Anca Nuta – Head of Marketing and Communication at UniCredit Tiriac Bank Romania, Uros Gorican – Creative Director Publicis Group Ljubljana and Lea Stankovic – Creative Director Communis agency Belgrade
Genius Loci in Tourism Advertising Industry – session dedicated to the importance of local spirit for advertising and promotion in sectors like Tourism
The Golden Stage – session during which young creatives, all winners from four participating festivals, present their work, ideas, and views on their profession. The participants include Marco Giannelli – Creative Director AlmapBBDO Brazil, Vladimir Cosic – Creative Director McCann Belgrade, Ines Salzer – Copywriter Ogilvy Vienna, Robert Bohinec – Creative Director Mayer McCann Ljubljana, and Gregor Zakelj – Art Director VBG Ljubljana.
Creative Summit – Jury on the stage – session presenting the eminent jury members’ personal views and experiences with cases highlighting the importance of local culture in advertising communications. The red line of the presentations will be Creativity for the better world.
The sessions’ program will end with the presentation of the awarded works, the best among best at 8th Intercontinental Advertising Cup Awards, which will include the awards gala and an after-party
