Volkswagen UK and Tribal Worldwide London unveiled this year’s UK-wide virtual treasure hunt – #CamperHunt – giving the most ardent of fans the chance to win one of three VW Camper Van Tents to celebrate the summer, as part of the brand’s ‘Camper Van Tour’ social initiative.
Running across Twitter and Facebook from Monday 17 August, Volkswagen and Tribal Worldwide London will hold three #CamperHunts over three weeks in three UK locations.
During each competition photographs of four landmarks at a UK location (including one image of the Camper Van Tent in situ) will be posted on Facebook and Twitter, with fans being encouraged to guess where the Camper Van Tent is. Hints will be posted on the Volkswagen UK Facebook and Twitter feeds. To enter, fans can click through to a competition page on Facebook, while on Twitter users will be invited to tweet where they think the Camper Van Tent is, with the hashtag #CamperHunt.
Sally Mawson, National Communications Manager at Volkswagen UK:
#CamperHunt is an interactive and light-hearted social initiative that perfectly captures the essence of Summer Driving. We’re excited about engaging with our followers and are looking forward to interacting with new and existing fans as part of the campaign.
