Electric Castle music festival, communicated by Romanian Golin


Golin Romania was selected, following a pitch, to communicate the Electric Castle Festival, which takes place every year at Bánffy Castle in Romanian county Cluj. For 2016 edition, scheduled to take place on July 14-17, the agency has the mission to develop and implement a campaign aiming for increasing event’s notoriety, promotion of Electric Castle brand and expanding and maintaining the community around the festival.

Since its first year, Electric Castle aimed to be a festival built on an unique concept, and this was realized with the extraordinary location it takes place in, its eclectic and no compromises line up, the community built around EC and the complete experience the festival is offering. Since 2013, yearly, Electric Castle takes place in Cluj county and, since its very first edition, the event made it every time on the shortlist of the European Festival Awards, in Best Medium Sized Festival category. Last year, Electric Castle gathered together close to 100,000 participants during the 4 days of festival.
