Golden Hammer announced this year’s winners, with the main prize in creative category (the Creativity Case) going to Leavingstone, while the main prize in communications (Communications Folder) was claimed by Golin / MullenLowe Romania. The main prize in digital (the Access Key) went to Leavingstone, while the PR Frame, top in PR, went to Golin / MullenLowe Romania. Due to the performances, Golin agency network was crowned Network of the Year at Golden Hammer 2017.

Out of the 131 works that made it on the shortlist, 26 scooped Gold and 23 went home with Silver.

This year, the Grand Prix – only awarded to works rated particularly highly (Grand Prix can be selected only on the basis of consensus) – was bestowed on 7 works: Creative jury  nominated Hungry Hungry Hamsters (Leavingstone, Georgia) in Craft category, and The Invisibles (Walk, Poland) in Social category; PR jury nominated Electric Castle – Unofficial Partners (Golin / MullenLowe, Romania) in PR category; Communications jury nominated The lick-hiker’s guide to inner strength (hasan & partners, Finland) in Content and Entertainment category, Digital Iron Curtain (TRIAD Advertising, Slovakia) in Direct category, Underground Periscopes (Wiktor Leo Burnett, Slovakia) in Media category and Electric Castle – Unofficial Partners (Golin / MullenLowe, Romania) in Promo & Activation category.

Golin and MullenLowe Romania scooped at Golden Hammer a total of 2 Grand Prix, 3 Gold and 2 Silvers for the campaigns  Electric Castle – Unofficial Partners and Vanilla Skype// BRD – Groupe Société Générale. They also received two distinctions for the biggest number of points accumulated, namely PR Frame and Communications Folder.

Golin is the first PR agency in Romania awarded a Grand Prix in Golden Hammer, surpassing strong agencies from CEE, Germany or Nordics, and the trophies it won contributed to bringing Golin agency network the title of Network of the Year.
