Romanian advertising agency pastel added a new client to its portfolio, being designated to handle, for the next 2 years, the brand communication for Sun Plaza, Romanian commercial center owned by the Austrian real estate investment company Simmo AG. The agency was selected after a competitive pitch, as pastel’s approach was the best match for brand’s 7-year-old promise, “A sensational destination”.
Starting from Sun Plaza’s original and surprising personality, but also from a thorough research, the agency proposed a strategic refresh materialized into a daring and effective concept, while maintaining the brand’s positioning and its relevance for the consumers.
I was happy to be able to approach this project „by the book”. Sun Plaza were generous with the time, so we could give the necessary attention to every step of the process. Our strategy had the time to go deep and thorough and we, the creative department, could explore at ease. This is how we managed to hone a very relevant and seductive concept.
